MEET MUSEUM VOLUNTEER WIN MIXTER
“I’ve been volunteering with the GLBT History Museum for about 4 years. I’ve seen some amazing conversations here with historical figures from the local cities. We had a great Compton’s Cafeteria (Riots) 50th Anniversary a couple of years ago and for me, it was a great way to know more about the Riot but also to help place where we live in the broader continuum of history for our community.”
