Paul Reidinger

Paul Reidinger Paul Reidinger is a novelist, critic and longtime contributor to the San Francisco Bay Guardian. He was born in Eau Claire, Wis., in 1959 and was educated in the public schools there, at Stanford (AB 1981, history) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (JD, 1985). He is the author of several novels, including The Best Man (Dutton, 1986, named one of the best novels of that year by Booklist, the magazine of the American Library Association), Good Boys (Dutton, 1993) and The City Kid (Southern Tier/Haworth, 2001). His food writing has won awards from the California Newspaper Publishers Association (criticism and commentary, 2001) and the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies (2003), and his legal journalism was nominated for a Peter Lisagor Award by the Chicago Society of Business Press Editors (1988). He lives in San Francisco.
