Lucy Jane Bledsoe Lucy Jane Bledsoe is the author of three novels, a collection of short fiction, a collection of narrative nonfiction, and six books for kids. Her fiction has won a California Arts Council Fellowship, a PEN Syndicated Fiction Award, an American Library Associate Stonewall Award, Two National Science Foundation Artists & Writers Fellowships, and has been translated into Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese, and Dutch. Bledsoe’s most recent novel, Biting the Apple, is a postmodern look at what it means to pick and eat the fruit from the Garden of Eden.
