“COCKTAILS FOR A CAUSE” AT STRAY BAR

Happy Hour Celebration Features Signature Drinks, Rad Raffle Schwag

SAN FRANCISCO —For a hot holiday happy hour, on Friday, December 8, queers of every flavor and their altruistic party friends should head to Stray Bar in Bernal Heights for “Cocktails  for a Cause” a GLBT Historical Society benefit. The gorgeous, multi-gendered bartenders will be mixing up a special cocktail for the event.  The GLBT Historical Society will also hold a raffle and auction for some amazing vintage queer goodies, such as t-shirts from the 1970s and 1980s, pulp fiction, and saucy porn.

COCKTAILS FOR A CAUSE
Every Friday in December, Stray Bar will recognize a different charity and promote a Charity Cocktail of the Day, with a significant portion of the proceeds from the drink going to the charity.  It’s a great way to release some steam with your co-workers and friends while raising money for a good cause!

Stray Bar , located at 309 Cortland Street in the heart of Bernal Heights , opened in June.   When people ask if it is a “straight” bar or a “gay” bar, the staff simply says, “We’re a Stray Bar —where everyone is welcome!” In that spirit, the Historical Society’s “Cocktails for a Cause” is free and open to all.
