| Gabriela Hasbun was born and raised in El Salvador. She is a freelance photographer based in San Francisco, California specializing in people and reportage photography. Her work has been featured in various publications, most notably Dwell, Fortune, Newsweek, Rolling Stones, and Wired magazines. With a degree in Photography from the Academy of Art College, San Francisco, Hasbun has participated in numerous exhibitions, and in 2003 was also selected to participate in the prestigious Eddie Adams Photojournalism Workshop.
