I see the very worst in people here. I see evil face-to-face. I've
seen people murdered, I've seen people brutally raped, I've heard the
worst stories in the world, and yet, on the other hand, I've
experience the best. And I mean I think that's part of the mystery of
life. There's no answers to why good happens, or bad happens. People
will categorize the prostitution as 'black and white,' and people will
demonize johns—and when you get to know somebody, you realize they are
both victims, and they are also victimizers. And that comes out of
their own pain. And that's what I've learned. We live in gray areas.
The mystery for me is – the fact is –it's not that 'black and white,'
and I can find both the good and bad in anyone. |
